​Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. It emphasizes core strength, stability, and controlled movements, making it suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. Practicing Pilates can enhance overall body awareness and promote a balanced physique, often leading to improved performance in other physical activities. Whether performed on a mat or using specialized equipment, Pilates offers a holistic approach to fitness and wellness.  It was developed in 1920 by Joseph Pilates and has evolved through the years appealing to all populations regardless of age, level of fitness and mobility. Pilates is now integrated into nearly all top level sports as it's benefits are far reaching..
